Stampede- UPDATE
It now appears to be 345 dead in the stampede, according Saudi officials. If comfirmed, this is the largest amount of cassualties since 1990, when 1426 pilgrims died in a tunnel in Mecca. Here is a timeline over earlier casualtities during the Hajj.

Terrible news. Why does this have to happen - every year? :-(
Well I guess there must be some truth to that old saying that those on mass Hajjes shouldn't throw stones.
